Privacy policy
Last updated 22 July 2026. This policy explains what SIGNAUTO MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY CO W.L.L, Bahrain, collects when you use Rankedwire, and what we do with it.
1. Who controls your data
SIGNAUTO MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY CO W.L.L, registered in Bahrain, is the
controller of the personal data described here. For any question about this
policy, or to make a request about your data, write to
[email protected] or call +973 3369 4609.
2. What we collect
-
Account details. Your name, email address, password (stored only as a
one way hash, never in readable form) and the date you signed up.
-
Brand information. Everything you tell us about the business you want
covered: company name, country, industry, description, products and services,
and any other detail you enter into your brief.
-
Websites and links you provide. Your website address and any public
profile links you give us. We fetch the public content at those addresses in
order to draft your brief and, if you ask for it, to research the company.
-
Uploads. Logos, images and documents you upload for use in your coverage.
-
Payment records. The amount, currency, date, provider and status of each
payment, and the credit balance and transaction history of your account. We do
not receive or store your full card number. Card data goes directly to the
payment provider.
-
Technical data. Server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested,
timestamps) and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
We do not collect special category data (health, religion, political opinion,
biometrics), and you should not send it to us.
3. Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie so that you stay signed in while you
move between pages. It is not used for advertising and it is not sold or
shared. We do not run third party advertising or tracking cookies on this
site.
4. How we use it
- To create and run your account, and to authenticate you.
- To draft your brief and write the editorial articles you have paid for.
- To publish those articles on our publications, which is by definition public.
- To take payment, apply credits, and keep the financial records the law requires us to keep.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To keep the service secure, detect abuse and investigate misuse.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on the performance of our contract with you for most of the above, on
our legitimate interest in running and securing the service for technical and
security data, and on legal obligation for financial records. We do not sell
your personal data, and we do not use it to train models of our own.
5. What becomes public
This is deliberate and worth stating plainly. The articles we write about your
business are published publicly on news publications, and they include the
business information you gave us and any logo or image you supplied. They are
intended to be permanent and are open to anyone, including search engines that
choose to index them. Do not put anything in your brief that you would not
want published.
6. Who else processes your data
We use a small number of third parties, each for one purpose:
-
Payment providers. To take and verify payment, including card and
cryptocurrency payment processors. They receive the payment details and the
minimum identifying information they need to process and to meet their own
regulatory duties.
-
Artificial intelligence providers. Our newsroom uses AI language models as
part of writing and researching articles. Your brand information and the public
content of the links you gave us are sent to these providers for that purpose.
We use providers who do not train their models on data submitted through their
business interfaces.
-
Hosting and storage providers. Our servers, database and file storage
(including uploaded logos and images) are operated by infrastructure providers
on our behalf.
-
Professional advisers and authorities. Our accountants and lawyers where
needed, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.
Some of these providers operate outside Bahrain, so your data may be
processed abroad. We use providers who offer appropriate contractual and
technical safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and brand data: while your account is open, and for up to 12 months after you close it, so that a returning customer is not lost and any dispute can still be resolved.
- Payment and transaction records: for as long as tax and company law in Bahrain requires, which is currently a minimum of 5 years.
- Published articles: indefinitely. They are part of a publication's permanent record and are not deleted when an account closes.
- Server logs: a short rolling window, kept for security and troubleshooting only.
8. Security
Passwords are stored as one way hashes. Traffic to the site is encrypted in
transit. Access to the production database is restricted to the people who
need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not
claim otherwise, but we will tell affected account holders without undue delay
if we become aware of a breach that affects their data.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account data, subject to the retention periods above.
- Stop a particular use of your data, or object to it.
- Export your data in a portable format.
Email [email protected] and we will respond
within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do
not hand your data to someone else.
One limit, stated honestly. A request to delete your data does not remove
articles already published. Those are editorial content on a publication of
record. If a published article contains a factual error about you, tell us and
we will review it (see our terms of service).
10. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do
not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the one in force, and
the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
